Maine Yellow Alder chunks have a mild wintergreen smoke flavor that is ideal for any seafood grill.  Using a fine mesh propane or charcoal grill plate, you can grill any seafood entre' with confidence.  Our Maine yellow alder chunks placed directly on the grill beside your offering will infuse its distinct smoke flavor into shrimp, haddock, halibut, scallops or any other seafood of your choice.

Simply place the chunks on the grilling surface and when the chunks begin to smoke, grill your seafood as usual. Just a great added flavor!  And, you don't need to pre-soak our wood chunks unless you want to flavor the steam with something other than water.
